    Have you ever had the opportunity to float your own boat? Well, here’s your chance! Cape Outback Adventures offers the best in Salt Water Kayaking. COA is able to offer tours in over six areas on the Lower Cape in cooperation with the local towns and the National Seashore. First time boater or veteran paddler, we have the trip for you. We will set you up with a boat, paddle, life preserver (PFD), necessary instructions, a certified guide, a waterproof bag for camera, keys, etc., and off we go!

    All paddling takes place on the bayside or "inside" of the Cape. These trips do not involve the heavy currents or whitewater of the ocean. At high tides, salt water fills into several inlets and estuaries. We time our trips to float into these areas with the incoming tide and turn to float out as the tide recedes. This makes for a fairly easy paddling experience so that you may fully enjoy your surroundings. Don’t miss it just because you’ve never done it. At Cape Outback Adventures, beginners are encouraged!

    What about kids?
    No problem! We carry a variety of kayaks to accomodate you and your young ones. Tandem boats or shorter kayaks with oversized cockpits are perfect for you and your child. Safe and fun, kids love it!!!

    As tides and weather permit, we will be offering sunset and moonlight trips. These special tours book very fast so feel free to log your Email addresses for upcoming events. No spam, just occasional updates and deals. Promise!

    Want to explore the bayside
    of the Cape at your own leisure?

    Let us make it easy for you with our kayak delivery service. We will deliver and pick-up the necessary equipment at a specified drop location for a three hour rental, or to your doorstep for a 24 hour rental. Kayaks, paddles, life preserver (pfd), and a drybag for waterproof storage will be supplied.


    sea kayak tours NOTE:     Keep in Mind!!! Kayaks and the equipment associated with the sport can be heavy and difficult to transport. Boats range from 9 - 13 ft in length and weigh 30 - 70 lbs.

    SAFETY FIRST: Cape Outback is fully insured and permited for your safety as well as the others around you. Before heading out for any adventure activity on the Cape, be sure that your company of choice has this mandatory coverage.
